Breakfast the Nasi Lemak like King

Breakfast like a king. Yeah that's right. As a Malaysian, I am used to eating rice for breakfast.

Nasi Lemak will become the usual meal for most of Malaysian though we don't really have a standard menu of breakfast.

I had Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng at my office cafeteria this morning. The rice is cooked with coconut milk, the red sambal bilis is served alongside with cucumber slices, roasted peanuts, fried anchovies and egg. Sambal is normally stir-fried ground chilli paste (in bahasa we call this tumis or action menumis) with spices and anchovies.

Ayam goreng (fried chicken) is the side dish in addition that I took. Normally nasi lemak can be served with various sides such as sotong telur, sambal sotong, sambal petai, sambal udang, even western combinations such as hotdogs and omelette and etc.

RM 3.50
